This is Kraig’s List; not to be confused with Craig’s List.
My list contains the top three decisions I’ve ever made. It’s not deep or profound, it’s just three decisions I’m really glad I made. When I look back at my life thus far, these are my top three defining moments:
1. Following Christ. This decision dramatically altered the course of my life … and my afterlife. I am still trying to fully comprehend the impact of this decision; I suppose it will take eternity to sort it all out.
2. Marrying Dawn. I cannot begin to explain what a blessing my wife is to me. She is my favorite person on earth and the love of my life. She has made me a better person.
3. Joining the Military. This is the decision that got me out of my hometown, funded my education, made me grow up, took me around the world, and taught me to be a leader.
What’s on your list? (Bonus points awarded to anyone who doesn’t repeat my list; I am willing to concede #1 to all Christians.)
1. Accepting Christ. I was always told I was baptized as a baby, Catholic, and that I was a believer and that was pretty much it. My spiritual search started in 2005 and my answer was found when I asked Him into my life in 2006. Best Decision I have ever made in my life.
2. Having my kids. Yeah, it wasn’t in the timing I had expected to have them, but having them made me grow up and mature in sooooooo many ways, I can’t describe them all.
3. Moving to FL. I realized in the past 2 years of moving A LOT and far, that I am way too dependent on my mother, and its time for me to now really start focusing on my family here within these walls of our house and depend on GOD. Also, I have finally established a Church home where I can not only learn more about Christ, but also know what it means to be part of a Church family. (Not to mention who doesn’t love sunshine & warm weather?!?)
I would have one of my points be also marrying Justin, but I was trying to make them different from yours!!
