  1. It's just a web site man! says:

    I agree and disagree…

I agree because as fallen creatures in a fallen world, we are prone to sin. The more we sin, the farther we stray from Jesus. We live in a world that is decaying, not just physically, but spiritually, and it is sometimes hard to stay on course. The Bible tells the story of the disciples and the persecution of those who followed Christ. I get goose bumps when I think of Peter being crucified upside down. Not easy to follow Christ in those times.

However, there is a battle on earth, and there is that spiritual wall we all must climb. It is very hard at first. But once we get to the top, when we finally stop fighting gravity pulling us down and we surrender to God’s will – suddenly things get easier. We no longer think Jesus is the way – we KNOW He is the way.

    God Bless…

  2. Trick question – Following Jesus is hard…. so is keeping your marriage together….. so is fighting injustice in this world….. “For anything worth having one must pay the price; and the price is always work, patience, love, self-sacrifice”
Matthew 16:24-25 – Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”

But, Jesus also gives us a reason to live, and helps us deal with the troubles of everything we come against in this world.
Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Philippians 4:19 says “my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus”

  3. Robert Bare says:

It may appear hard from the outside but once committed and fully surrendered, the blessings that follow those who follow God’s principles are well worth any and all sacrifice. I enjoyed the “Blessed and highly favored ” lifestyle that I have come to know. Thanks pastor Kraig.
