About
Hi. Thanks for stopping by!
I’m a pastor, teacher, strategist, theologian, cultural architect, and visioneer committed to changing lives with the message of Jesus Christ. I currently serve as an Executive Pastor at Niceville Assembly where I’m responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing churchwide ministries, and creating a culture that makes us the church-of-choice for young families in the tri-county area.
This blog exists as an outlet for me to share thoughts on Christ, Culture, Community and the Church. With that being said, I’m a pastor who blogs – not a blogger who pastors. I may post something once a week or once a month but my FOCUS is on other things.
I’m called “to uproot, tear down, destroy and overthrow” anything that keeps people from maximizing their God-given potential while simultaneously “building and planting” the kind of church that reaches people at the deepest point of need with the love and mercy of Jesus Christ (Jer 1:6-10). I’d love to have you join me in the journey.
My story includes 24-years without Christ, 10+ years in Air Force Special Operations, an engineering gig at Boeing, a near-death experience, a phenomenal marriage, and a decision to follow Jesus that change my life (now & eternally). I hold a B.S. in Aeronautics and an M.A. in Theological Studies. My wife, Dawn, and I reside on Florida’s Gulf Coast and have two awesome kids: Courtney and Kaden.
